Personal Integrity

Integrity: doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
What is integrity anyway?
 Does it have a color?
Are we defined by our personal integrity?
Do we judge or hold others to our standard of integrity?
Do the rules that I make for myself apply to everyone around me?

I found out today that the answer is yes. I fully expect everyone within my circle of friends/family to hold themselves accountable to my definition of integrity. I don't know if that's particularly fair because we are all different. But I think that we do judge everyone by our standards. Personal, ethical, moral, professional ... and so the list goes on. Sometimes, though, these expectations set us up for heartache. It just seems to be unavoidable. I had hoped to avoid heartache by not having any expectations. It now seems that neutrality is not one of my strong points.
 Who knew?

Mom

This is my mom, Celia. She died January 24, 2011. To say that I was unprepared is an understatement. When you think about it, though, are we ever really ready for something like this?

My mom was a wonderful lady; but I didn't know this for a very long time. My life got in the way. It wasn't until I remarried and moved out of state that I was able to develop a friendship with her. A loving friendship. My mother and I became friends. After so many years I was able to hug my mother with love and know that she felt it. And returned it. I am going to miss her every moment of my life.
It had been my hope to write her story, but momma died before she could begin to put it down on paper. I'm not talking about your average day to day stuff. My mom saw the magic in this world because she was born with some really special gifts. My favorite was her ability to read auras. She would read mine each time I came to visit. I loved it!

I love you, Momma. And I miss you...with all that I am.

Sandy Wolfe

I just found out the other day that Sandy Wolfe had died. Last year.

I hadn't visited her website in awhile. But I was in need, so I clicked her link which I had saved to my favorites folder... and nothing happened. I tried again and nada. I thought to myself, "She must have died". And I was right.

I don't know the details yet. But I'm going to ask.

She was a remarkable woman!

I met Sandy Wolfe at a Body, Mind, & Spirit Expo in 2004. She was an Exhibitor. Tarot was her specialty; plus a little Aura Clearing. I like the Tarot. It speaks to me. And so I was drawn to her and I sat down at her table.

I had a wonderful reading, full of hope and promise, which was good because my Spirit had been weighing heavy for some time. Right then she offered to clear my Aura and I jumped at the chance. Not that I really expected anything to happen (I had never had one done). She closed her eyes and 'looked' at me. And she said "Boy, you sure carry alot of other people's stuff around with you!" She proceeded to make motions in the air as if she was cleaning/clearing the space around me. And I'll be darned...slowly but surely I began to feel lighter and lighter. It really worked!

I was absolutely amazed at what she had done for me. I hadn't felt that light in Spirit since I was young. And I continued to feel this way for almost two years.

I went looking for her because I needed to feel that light again. And, much to my regret, I was too late. Sandy had already gone to her reward. How lucky she is to be in HIS arms again.

Sandy Wolfe you are missed. I will never forget you and your kindness to me and, by extension, my family.

Love and light to you always.

P/S Put in a good word for me!
